Rally-Xross Tires are designed for both rally cars and buggies to be driven on compact gravel and dusty tarmac surfaces. When using the Rally-Xross Tires on the RR5 we recommend a longer gear ratio due to 160mm tire diameter. This smaller diameter helps to reduce traction roll when compared to the full size 180mm version.
The new Rally-Xross tyre is actually the same diameter as the standard on-road asphalt tyres seen on the current X5 and XS5 models however, the external wheel diameter is smaller to give a more scale look and by increasing the sidewall thickness it improves durability for rough gravel surfaces. This also give more cornering traction on gravel and dusty tarmac surfaces.
